Save The Date June 6, 2009

The Sowders Summer Family Reunion will be held at The Cove at Concord Park on Saturday June 6, 2009 from 4 to 9 PM. The decendants of E and Bessie (Cornelius) Sowders are invited to share in this annual family reunion. The cost of the meal is $5.00 for age seven and up and $3.00 for six years old and younger. The meal promises to be yummy and hopefully we can get Tony to bake some great Buttermilk Pies and Cheryl and Gary to bake the Pecan Buttermilk Pie they've experimented with this Christmas! Quilt Raffle

Be prepared to bring some of your egg money to buy raffle tickets to win a finished homemade quilt by Uncle Kermit & Aunt Mable, Aunt Geneva and Aunt Ethel. As you all know, they make a quilt to raffle off at each reunion. The quilts are always beautiful and coveted by the winner! The proceeds from this raffle cover the costs of material to make the quilts that are given to E & Bessie Sowders decendants up to the third generation who graduate from high school.
