Summer of 2013 Reunion

Saturday June 29th from 4:00 to 9:00pm

 Please bring three food items plus a drink, enough to feed your family plus two!  

 There will be items and a QUILT for the RAFFLE!  Raffle tickets are sold and the money is used to make the graduation quilts. How blessed we are to have our Aunts and Uncle Kermit to make these cherished family heirlooms. If you have never made a quilt, you have no idea how much work it takes to make one. Our Grandma Sowders started our quilting tradition and many of us continue this today. She would have been so proud to see all the quilts made for the graduates over the years.

 There is a playground for the kids, also a swimming area for those who wish to swim.

 This summers reunion is brought to you by Uncle Kermit and Aunt Mabel and family. Thank you in advance, its hard work!

The Sowders Summer Family Reunion will be held at The Cove at Concord Park on Saturday June 6, 2009 from 4 to 9 PM. The decendants of E and Bessie (Cornelius) Sowders are invited to share in this annual family reunion. The cost of the meal is $5.00 for age seven and up and $3.00 for six years old and younger. The meal promises to be yummy and hopefully we can get Tony to bake some great Buttermilk Pies and Cheryl and Gary to bake the Pecan Buttermilk Pie they've experimented with this Christmas! SOWDERS CHRISTMAS REUNION

Come to Grassy Valley Baptist Church on December 11, 2010 at 5 p.m. for our Annual Sowder's Christmas get together! Bring your favorite dish to share and we will provide tea, coffee & water. If you would like to drink something else, please bring it. Be creative! Gifts will be provided for children under age 10. We will be raffling off a beautiful quilt made by the Aunt Geneva, Aunt Mable and Aunt Ethel. Be there or be square!
